Rubert is excited to be fulfilling his lifelong interest in real estate after 37 years in sales and management in the electrical distribution business. A native of Norfolk, Virginia, he has been a regular visitor to the beautiful island communities of the Outer Banks since the early sixties. In 1994, he made the decision to purchase a home and relocate to the area, where he has since established himself as an astute student of the ever-changing real estate landscape.
Rubert is a self-starter, who understands the value of hard work, attention to detail and follow through. He listens carefully to the specific needs and concerns of his clients. He follows through with the necessary research to provide quick results. And, he proceeds through each transaction with strong negotiations on behalf of his clients. Rubert enjoys the recreational lifestyle available on the Outer Banks, and he spends his free time golfing and fishing. He has a strong connection to his community and his family, and enjoys spending time with his five grandchildren.
